Great War/World War 1: The American Experience historical display focuses on the American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) and honors men and women from Northern California who served at home and in France. Through artifacts, photographs, period posters, poetry, and explanatory text, we explore the motivations and sacrifices that tipped the war in favor of the Allies.
