Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco organized this concert for Korean and American Veterans who served in the Korean War and Korean Independence activists as well as their families. It is part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Independence Movement and heading into the 70th anniversary of the start of the Korean War next year.
Featured Artists Professor Edwin E.S. Kim fromĀ  Hanyang University, and his spouse Melanie M.Y. Chae.

Professor Edwin E.S. Kim majored in violin at Vienna National University of Music and is currently a music professor at Hanyang University, and his spouse Pianist Melanie M.Y. Chae studied piano in London. These musicians released several CDs and have great reputation for their many solo concerts in Europe and Korea. The two musicians who possess both strength and tenderness will present very charming songs, which will inspire you and touch your hearts throughout the concert.
