A bicycle give away for local veterans. There will be up to 100 refurbished and safety inspected bicycles to be given to qualified first-time and deserving veterans.
You must take a safety class prior to going to the Saturday November 19th bike distribution which will be held at the Atwater Tavern, 295 Terry A Francois Blvd., San Francisco. The check-in time is 10:30am to receive your bike.
The safety classes will be held on September 24th, October 11th, 22nd, and 25th, November 1, and 5th from 2:00 to 3:00pm in the the War Memorial Veterans Building, 401 Van Ness Ave. in Room 221.
