There will be two local ceremonies to honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day. Both of these events will start at 11am on May 30th, one at the San Francisco National Cemetery in the Presidio, and one at the Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
– San Francisco:
The event starts at 11am with a band concert starting at 10:30am. The address is: 1 Lincoln Blvd in the Presidio. The speakers will be CDR Daniel Bernardi, PhD, Navy Reserve, and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston. There will be a flyover by the Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco.
– San Bruno:
The event starts at 11am. with a band concert at 10:30am. The address is: 1300 Sneath Lane (Veterans Way) in San Bruno. The speakers will be Dave C. Prakash, MD, US Air Force Veteran, and COL Deborah Dacumos, US Army (retired). There will be a flyover by the Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco.
