The United Nations Association of San Francisco presents the Human Impact on Life Below: The Arctic Ocean & Climate Change in Room 210 at the Veterans War Memorial Building, 401 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, CA. The event is open to both in person and virtual attendees on September 30, 2023 from noon to 3:00pm.

The Keynote Speaker will be Sylvia Earle, PhD, a pioneering ocean scientist, author, speaker, and conservation leader. This speech will be followed by a UN Treaty on the High Seas with Charlotte Salpin, UN Legal Affairs Senior Legal Affairs Officer, and Paul Holthus, Founding President and CEO of the World Ocean Council.

For those attending in person, there will be an opportunity to meet the Aquanauts, Jill Heinerth and Sierra Philips. There will also be a musical interlude provided by the USF Classical Choral Ensemble.
